Declan Nerney

Declan Nerney is an Irish and country artist who was born in Drumlish, County Longford. His career bag at 16 years old as part of the band The Hi-Lo’s. His first big break came with the self-penned song “Marquee in Drumlish”.

In 1990 he sang to some 65,000 people in Croke Park at half-time in the All-Ireland Final. He has appeared on a number of television shows in Ireland including Gay Byrne’s Late Late Show, and also on St. Patrick’s Day 1994 he performed live to 60 million people on network TV in the USA.
