Big Jo-Ke Music Publishing was founded by Australian music industry veterans Ken Harding and John Evans in 1993. The company was initially set up to specialise in the publishing of songs by Irish and Scottish songwriters, but over the years Big Jo-ke expanded into representing songwriters from all over the world. Big Jo-Ke has sub-publishing agreements to represent a number of international music labels and their artists.
Big Jo-Ke also has its own record label and a license/distribution deal with Sony Music for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Artists represented on the label include Daniel O’Donnell and The Fureys.
